Our Tool Wishlist
We had over 80 Lexington residents fill out our full interest survey last year. This information will help guide us with where to focus our efforts as we seek out new tool donations or make purchases.
The top categories we heard from you were: Garden/Lawn/Landscaping, Hand Tools, Saws, Dolly, Painting. Some of the additional items tresidents asked for specifically include: automotive, ladders, woodworking, moving, repair, sewing machines, roto-tillers, and cleaning/washing equipment.
Could you help donate some of these items? Please make sure:
- All tools are explicitly on our wishlist or you have coordinated with us via email ahead of time.
- All tools are relatively clean and in good working order. This helps volunteers focus on getting the tools in the hands of members, not fixing and cleaning new donations.
- No donations include oils, expired consumables, or dangerous or flamable materials. Gasoline-powered equipment is not allowed.
